This past weekend at the Colorado State Democratic Assembly and Convention, delagates of house district 62 choose to put Rocky as the sole candidate on the ballot for the November election. The excitement is building and we are one step closer to putting “A Doctor in the House”.

Five of the eight counties in House District 62 have held their assemblies over the last two weeks with the other three happening over the next two weeks. All county results are not yet available but 87% of Rio Grande county delegates and 70.7% of Alamosa county delagates have given their support to Rocky and said “Let’s put a Doctor in the House”. Thanks for your continued support and let’s keep working together to maintain the momentum for a brighter and healthier future for Colorado.     

All time records were set across the state for caucus attendance on February 5th. The message is clear, America is ready for a new direction. Straw polls were taken from several of the precincts in Alamosa County on caucus night and our campaign carried 71%!!! Now, we just need to keep the momentum! For the next several weeks I will be attending the county assemblies across the district. It is time for bold and decisive leadership in House District 62. Please join me in contacting the county delegates and making sure that those who go on to the State Assembly will be carrying the banner, “Put a Doctor in the House”.     

Monday, Jan. 28th: Sweep through Costilla County. Costilla County Democratic Central Committee meets at Sangre de Cristo Parish Hall, 508 E. Church Place in San Luis @ 6:00 pm.

Tuesday, Jan. 29th: Rocky will canvass Alamosa County Businesses. Rocky White for House District 62 campaign committee meeting at Mrs. Rivera’s Restaurant in Alamosa @ 6:00 pm. All interested all welcome.

Wednesday, Jan. 30th: Rocky will speak to the Del Norte Rotary at 7:00 am, then on to canvass western Rio Grande and Mineral Counties. I will be having lunch at MJ’s in Creede at 12:00 noon and will be available for questions.

Thursday, Jan. 31: Rocky will be in Denver for the presentation of the Blue Ribbon Health Care Reform Commission findings to the Legislature and then will meet with the Governor later in the day.

Friday, Feb. 1: Campaigning in Pueblo and helping with the Democratic Party Bingo in downtown Pueblo in the evening.

Saturday, Feb. 2: I will be attending a summit on the gang problem in East Pueblo at St. Leander’s Church 1438 E. 7th Street in East Pueblo from 9 am to 11am. Then back to Alamosa for a House District 62 debate between the 3 candidates at 6:00 pm at Carston Auditorium on the campus of Adams State College in Alamosa.

Tuesday, Feb. 5th: SUPER TUESDAY! Contact your local County Chair for the location of your precinct caucus. All Caucuses start at 7:00 pm sharp. Remember to volunteer or support those delegates that will support Rocky in the County and State Assembly. Let’s work hard to put a Doctor in the House!
